A Sunday night in office...

It was a Sunday night that I opted to start my night shift. And the night shift tenure is for a week once in 3-4 months on a rotation basis. It's been a while for me in the night shift, which is compulsory in the project that I am working in my office. Meanwhile, my project has been shifted to a new place, we have moved up to the first floor of the old building. Many other projects, which were on the ground floor, have been moved to the new 9-floor building except ours. And now, we are in a closed cabin where no one else has access except members of our project. Being a Sunday, I thought I would get some time off for a nap. But na, this Kandla and Kurkumbh walas (Some oil refineries which we work for) really sucks.

Hard day! (Day/night whatever), I found very hard to pass my time with a cold, which joined me in the evening. On top of the heavy cold & tiredness I had, there came the one-sided headache, which I often get during cold. I spent some time looking in to the Pandora's book in the Internet. That was something interesting, which I have ever done on the Internet (a must try link which is fun). Even though I was damn sleepy, tired and sick, I couldn’t sleep because the clients had informed me that I might get E-mails in between. How sad :-( right?, Even when my company has got 3,000 employees all over the world, I was all alone in my seat. That really made me feel that am alone in this world or at some point I have to be alone. The new closed cabin made me feel like a Polar bear in a Zoo in Middle East. It's silence everywhere…I walked a bit inside the cabin, whenever I got near to the windows I could hear the sound of small breeze and drizzle!!.Oh wow, Night, really is beautiful!!.

However, I managed to sleep in the early hours of Monday after informing the clients that I am not feeling well :-). That day was special, may be the sickness and loneliness made me understand that, life is nothing but a bore if we are alone. We need to have someone around to talk, care  and guide us always (Anyone say friends, family, loved ones etc.) to lead a good life. Alone, you are nothing and you can get nothing...

Confusion.. confusion!
I’m sure you’d have fallen dozed off if your were really alone. There were people at the other corner of this world who wished you to stay awake, baby ( I mean, Kkmbh/ Kandla ;)). Stay awake; as you said, nights are beautiful and am sure you would get ample oportunities ahead, to explore the real beauty of nights :)
